Our office was approached to partake in an architecture competition for a proposal on the Brisbane River. Intended for a husband and wife with their three children, each with their own brief and ambitions of living quarters, the design had to find a way of putting all the elements into one built form, yet make it feel like each household is separate.

The site sits on an elevated site along Archer st, Toowong that used to house an old Tudor style home. The slope of the blocks falls away from the street towards the river by over 15m, with a viewing deck, boathouse and jetty already in place.

The ex-TAB site as informally referred to by Bulimba locals sits on the corner of two major roads intersecting at the famous Oxford St roundabout. It is somewhat seen as a welcome mat to the Oxford St high St, but in its current form not doing any justice to the offering on the St.

Originally conceptualised in 2017, our idea is only now coming to fruition with a development partner that has fallen in love with our proposal for the site. Along both Riding and Hawthorne roads are pedestrian crossings, aligned, cutting through the apex of the site.

The subject site is situated on the well-known corner of Clarence Street and Lambert Road in Indooroopilly. The two roads are at a key interface, where you are surrounded by an activated ground plane and 8 storey-built forms sitting over this neighbourhood

design for the three-street frontage site minimises vehicular access by using the built form along the street and as activated interface for pedestrians. This is a departure from the archetypical local shopping centre, with parking along the streetscape and the built form pushed to the back of the site.

Situated at the end of coveted Oxford Street, perched on the edge of the Brisbane river, is number 2 Oxford Street. The location is ideal to create a riverfront precinct of a civil nature that will create a vantage point of the Brisbane CBD.

Our design embraces the locality of the site as a place of congregation, acting as the riverside gateway to the entertainment precinct beyond.

Amara residences is a project situated on the Brisbane River on McConnell St, in Bulimba. The street exists predominantly of single residential dwellings, with some remnant workers

cottages which were used during a booming boat building period in the area. Our brief from the client was to use an existing DA and address the facade component to give is a sense of identity.

This site is located directly across from Westfield Carindale on Creek Road, with an existing, but now vacant medical centre on it. It shares a vehicular entry point with the neighbouring hospital with pedestrian access coming off the footpath.

The site slopes up from the street with a protected bushland on the back wrapping around to a creek splitting the sit in two. The bushland is filled with tracks over the back of the site to connect to the suburban Cannon Hill area.

This is a site with a significant landholding, straddling the edge of the boundary of Ascot, along the Gateway motorway.

It posed some constraints as a site with noise pollution from the motorway and flight paths overhead, which will inform the architectural outcome.

20 Nellie Street is a precinct previously used as an industrial area, with a bus servicing depot at the core of the use.

It straddles the edge of the northern trainline, making it ideal location to draw attention to the site from peering eyes.

566 Underwood is located at an intersection with great civic importance. The future busway across the road makes for the site to be an important urban design fabric to complement the proposed infrastructure.

The brief for this site was to create a new kind of retail experience in a post pandemic world. Our design embraces the subtropical environment with mixed- use built forms.

44 Cotswold is a project with a long history in our office. Our original concept for the site spans back to early 2017 when we saw

a need for a commercial development on the site, positioned along a busy road network in Mount Warren Park.
