Lisa sees the essence of every urban city as a fabric, each stitched and weaved differently. Creating a texture that is unique to the users of these cities. The way that people move creates different layers of this fabric and over time a certain pattern is embedded within the topography of the city. This leads to place making within the urban context. With her interest in clothing design and making, this viewpoint of cities and architecture became evident. The way we design the pattern of the urban fabric informs the way these fabrics are stitched together and how people use these cities.
